SWANtech product solutions include the SWANguard™, SWANview™ software and the SWANserver™. SWANtech also offers two types of SWAN sensors that are specially designed to operate with SWAN products in a wide variety of applications and with special mountings for high-temperature operating environments. SWANtech has also specifically tailored industry-specific and application-specific solutions: SWANmarine, SWANplant, SWANwind; and SWANpowergen.

  • SWANguard - is the intelligent condition monitoring module that is the basis for all measurements and data acquisition. The SWANguard continuously monitors the connected stress wave sensors and calculates the corresponding stress wave energy and peak amplitude values. Using SWANtech's patented Stress Wave Analysis (SWAN) technology, the SWANguard provides superior accuracy in detecting faults, providing a degree of resolution into machine dynamics previously unattainable using traditional diagnostic methods. Sensors are connected to a SWANguard data acquisition unit that can support between 2 and 24 sensors, in a package suitable for your environment, including Class I, Div I/II areas. It is designed to be seamlessly integrated into existing plant management and control systems or to be used in stand-alone applications. . The SWANguard supports an industry standard MODBUS communications interface through EIA-232, EIA-485 or Ethernet and is also available in various wireless configurations. Data is extracted from the SWANguard for viewing via a variety of standard communication links. Wireless spread spectrum radio, WiFi, fiber optic, Ethernet and cellular communications are also supported for applications where conventional wiring is costly or impractical.

  • SWANview™ - : Is the base line decision support monitoring software that enables the user to view and trend all sensors and external process measurements (i.e. RPM) tied to the SWANguard units. This can be via the dedicated SWANserver or via the integration into a customers existing distributed control system (DCS), Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, or Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based system. In these applications the SWANguard data is easily transferred by the SWANserver and configured as a measurement input for display within these other systems. Incorporated as part of SWANview is a highly scalable, standards-based networked system offering remote monitoring and diagnostics across a local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), or the Internet. It enables operators or equipment manufacturers to assess the condition of machinery and isolate faults in large, remotely located, or unmanned facilities. It provides for equipment monitoring and management - either plant- or enterprise-wide - from a central location. SWANview provides comprehensive analysis tools for easy diagnostic and assessment purposes. FFT, Histogram and Operating History are part of the tool set. Operational and environmental parameters can be trended and correlated with Stress Wave values for asset and operational optimization.

  • SWANserver™ - SWANserver is a highly scalable, standards-based networked web server offering remote monitoring and diagnostics across a local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), or the Internet. It enables operators or equipment manufacturers to assess the condition of machinery and isolate faults in large, remotely located, or unmanned facilities. SWANserver provides for equipment monitoring and management - either plant- or enterprise-wide - from a central location, and web based information access. The SWANserver can be configured to receive process measurements in real time and correlate them with stress wave readings. When asset conditions change the SWAnserver can automatically dispatch email notifiations and alerts.

  • Condition Monitoring & Advisory Center/CMAC - This service allows a customer to have SWANtech host the application to monitor, report on, and diagnose & assess a customers sensor points. The standard SWANview software is used to perform this service. Customers that sign up for these services are provided a user ID and pass code to access their information via our web site. The information and display presentation provided is unique to their vertical market. Customer are charged on a per sensor basis and based on the level of service they require.

  • FLEETserver or ENTERPRISEserver
    For clients with SWAN monitoring systems implemented at multiple locations, who want to have a centralized, real-time monitoring facility, SWANtech can provide a central server that collects data from all of their on-site SWANservers and offers this data to corporate personnel using web access.

  • SWANsensors™ - Are highly sensitive devices, specifically designed to detect friction/shock induced stress waves occurring at ultrasonic frequencies within industrial machinery and process devices. Two types of SWANtech Sensors have been designed to work with the SWAN product suite in the delivery of state-of-the-art predictive maintenance solutions. SWANtech sensors, Standard and Two-Pin are highly sensitive devices that utilize a proprietary piezoelectric sensing element and contain integrated signal condition electronics with the sensor body. Their small sizes and available external mounting options that include stud, bolt-on, and epoxy, enable attachment to almost any type of machine surface in any type of operating environment.
